That's not really true though. I started reading the Sword of Truth series, and now I have no desire to finish it. I liked the first few books, but around book 5 or so I completely lost interest. I never even finished reading the books I already own in that series. The quality of Wheel of Time may have gone down over time, but I still need the next book. Not once has the interest dwindled. And that's true of any real Wheel of Time fan. It's nothing to do with being a creature of habit. Knowing the ending is important, but I really could not care less how Richard Rahl saves the magic of the world. I do however need and want to know how Rand defeats the Dark One (or doesn't). The obvious problem here is people have different tastes. The Wheel of Time is right up my alley. On the other hand there are books/movies/music/etc that I think are absolutely dreadful, and some people still like them. When all is said and done, quality really doesn't always influence entertainment value. ** Images For Use By Upgraded+ Only **
