Praying Hands in an Upper Room Forum

I am praying for each of the requests listed in the forum.

My husband made it safely home from his trip to Florida over the weekend. Unfortunately, his car tore up on the way home and had to be left behind. We ended up having to go back to Florida to tow it home. We made it home yesterday evening without any problems.

Despite the snow, I was able to go to the dentist on Monday. They said I'll have to have 6 teeth pulled, four of which are wisdom teeth. They said they should be able to do the procedure without putting me under. I'm thrilled since it means I won't have to wait until after the baby is born to get it taken care of.

I went for a prenatal and labwork this morning. They did the test for gestational diabetes and I failed it. I have to go to the hospital lab next week to do the three hour test. I'm praying the first test was just a fluke. They also tested my iron levels and found out they were low. The doctor has prescribed some pills to hopefully bring the levels up to normal. On a good note, my blood pressure has come down to a more reasonable level. The doctor still wants me to come in every two weeks so they can keep a close eye on me. The new nausea medicine is working well and I have gained a little more weight. The baby is continuing to thrive in spite of all the problems I'm having.

I have two prayer requests. My cousin is having surgery on Tuesday due to abnormal cells showing up during a recent gynecological exam. The doctor has said if the surgery does not work, she'll have to have a hysterectomy. She is only 19 and having a hard time dealing with this as it could mean the loss of her ability to have children.

Also, a friend of mine recently found out she was pregnant after going through three miscarriages. She's been having problems and her doctor thinks she may be miscarrying this child as well.
