Um... gold isn't light, Day Dreamer. It's actually one of the heaviest metals, with a specific gravity of 19.3. If you fill a one litre milk carton with gold, it would weight 19.3 kilograms, or, to put it another way, 1 cubic centimetre of gold weighs 19.3 grams. Gold is heavier than lead.
Having picked up gold bars, I can personally vouch for this. Gold is *heavy*.
