I found these books to be quite helpful in any fantasy need:

Fiction Writer's Handbook by Hallie and Whit Burnett {to make any fiction better, offers tons of advice on writing in general!)

Fantasy and sciece fiction and getting published by Brian Stableford (Great for any serious or newbie fantasy writers, offers adive on how to write fantasy character's, setting, and theme/style, etc.

And the one that will probably help you out the most and the one that I would recomend is: THE WRITER'S COMPLETE FANTASY REFERENCE BY WRITER'S DIGEST BOOKS. I believe this will help you in your hunt of swords/ schimatars (sp?).

My best bet would be to look on any bookstore website such as barnes and noble or borders. But you can always go look in a bookstore to see if they have the suggested books, not sure if they will have some of them.

With Love,
Lady Kedra
