This is one of the best critical reviews I have recieved to date on w.c. Excellent stuff. I had this chapter reviwed by a professional book doctor, and he didn't give me anywhere near the quality feedback you have provided.
I will go through each of your comments in detail and let you know when I have completed the re-write (just in case you are interested in taking a look at how it turns out).
