Are you writing for publication?

Good thoughts. I would like to get some credits to include in cover and query letters. It sounds so much better to be able to cite where I've been published before. If I can't cite previous publication, I assume they know I haven't been. There are a few mags that read beginners and take first-time stories. That is obviously the place to begin. Writing what sells is a good idea, but I can only write what I can write. So far, that hasn't been high on anybody's list. Thanks for the support.
