I totally hear what you are talking about! Electrolux/Frigidaire is literally right in my back yard and they are scheduled to close November 2nd (I think that's the right date) and that is going to kill our town. They have been here for SO many years. But on the bright side (if there is one) they are going to pay for people to go to school and allow them all to draw unemployment for 2 entire years on top of their severance package. But for a community the size of this to lose 2000+ jobs is going to be devastating, to say the least. That is literally one-third of our population.
