Reviewers Anonymous

I agree rates should be on errors and writing issues only; definitely not whether the reader actually liked it or not. I try to combine them, not so much on the 'like' factor as the 'well written, good story to read'. I've rated essays high when I disagreed, but they've made good arguements. However, I had to double the 'content' section of my (long) review form because I gave too many 4.5s to pieces that were technically perfect and remarkably BORING. Or pointless, or something to that effect.

<side note> There are some awesome reviewers in this forum...I would love it if any or all of you would take a look at my port raid and participate! I'm going for content/quality reviews instead of 'fast' ones, hoping to lure in the good folks instead of the quick-but-shallow readers. I'd like to get all my pieces read, but if nothing else, I'd love some indepth reviews on whatever can get R&Red! Or you can look at this to get an idea of what is in my port. "Invalid Item"
