Loveless




There's a man down our way


He has a game he likes to play


He's handsome and charming


Keeps the women smiling




He takes their heart in his hand


Uses thier love to command


Teases them thoughtlessly until they cry


Breaks thier spirit until they die




He is loveless




He has a passion for shyness


A fixation with kindness


He likes to make them


Then loves to break them




He is heartless




He tells them of his devotion


Allows them to test his false emotion


Waits until he knows they are his


Then crushes them with a stisfied hiss




He is malicious




There is a man down our way


He's learned a new game to play


The new girl is calming


And she keeps him smiling




She takes his heart in her hand


Uses sweet words to command


Teases him until he sighs


Breaks his spirit with the look in her eyes




He is weakening




She parades him like a new toy


£Come see my new boy"


He resists but he is shaking


She places a kiss and he is quaking




He is falling




She plays with his body


Then destroys his mind


For a time he was her hobby


She's the hurting kind




He is losing




The curtain falls


Thats the end of the play


She smiles weakly at him


Then walks away




And he is lost






Theres a man down our way


No longer does he play


He's no longer charming


But all the women are still smiling!
