Insidious Customable Haught Liege Parity Adhere To a Rainbow Feathered Friend Please stop that insidious squawking; You are a parakeet, not a crow! Most days you sing like a canary, like ten canaries— an operatic pro! But today you invite black birds full of haught To roost in the avocado, Screaming at each other, or just to shriek roughly abhorrent in their clutter. Or to call inanely to a rainbow Who sits upon my windowsill, Seeming to adhere as royal liege, or traitor in a cage, For the truth, they must besiege. Your bear no customable allegiance To those of boast with starkness. A parity you are not, tinted friend, to those of scorn and darkness. "I wish you all the joy that you can wish." ~William Shakespeare~ "Research is never a chore, but a divine pleasure; Learning, the language of life; Passion, a poet’s poison." ~Quizmo LaGrande~ |
