Walking on Water

Duped
Incorporate
Salinity
Uncommon
Rigor
Pother

Duped by the salinity of the surface
We walk out upon it
Believing that this must incorporate us
Into the very body of God.
Un (common) miracle
Buoyancy confused with rigor
But, oh, what a pother,
Oh, what a pain
When the world changes
And water is just water
Once again.
