Huzzah!

I've written 500 words of a novel idea (TRUST ME, that's an achievement) and TWO poems today! Woop!

Looks like all I needed were some prompts, a challenge. Writing from the heart without a prompt is proving difficult, but when someone gives me a reason e.g. contest, I'm fine. How odd.

They're triolets. Somehow I have a feeling it was too easy to write, so they've either watered down the form for us wannabes or I've done it wrong somehow and my poems are actually crap, or I'm a genius. But I'd rather not bet on the last one (actually my ego secretly does, heh).

How is everyone doing?
