A mornings word

Lend me your ear
and you shall hear,
then perhaps you will see.
Just what that this world,
into which we’re all hurled,
was truly meant to be.
And though it does stand to reason,
the cause is not always just.
And thus we all leer,
and as one we jeer,
a sign of our wanton disgust.
And wallow as if within pity,
and wail till our weary demise.
And then we begin,
to wholly depend,
on a truth we’ve tainted with lies.
To call on a faith now jaded,
a hope in resurrection we trust.
To fill our own need,
we beg and we plead,
as we feel that we must.

as always,
wordsy.

"a thin trail of whispers
across a wandering mind
faint flashes of fantasy
that I often find
merely jaded shadows
of who I used to be
they fill with words, my pages
for all the world to see"
