now that we've all recovered from that "100 things about me" assignment, i'd like to extend another, slightly easier one...
people-watching! everyone loves to do it, and writers in particular make a habit of it, as well we should. so for those of you who have a minute or two to look out the window, try this:
identify the next person to walk through your field of vision, and the next person after that. the two people shouldn't be together.
then, write a scenario in which the two collide in some way, and what happens.
this calls for some imagination, but it's a lot of fun, and a great way to break through writer's block. i'll give it a week, and send 1000 gps to the most creative response. (that gives me time to write mine, too!)
