📌 Amended Contest Rules

Eligibility
This contest is open to all WDC members except red cases (staff).

Daily Tasks
Authors will be given one (1) task per day for seven (7) days. Tasks will be diverse and may include writing activities, community involvement, and more.

In addition, there will be one group task, which will be announced on the first day. For this purpose, six (6) contestants each will be randomly assigned to one of two groups.

Each group must:

Choose its own leader

Create an imaginative group name

Complete the assigned group task

Submit the output in this forum within the seven-day contest period, following further instructions

The group task will have a separate prize, which will be awarded to all members of the winning group.

Registration
To register, please post directly in the forum below with the subject "Contestant" and include a public review of this item.

From this round onwards, fresh contestants who have not participated in earlier rounds will be given preference over previous participants.

The first twelve (12) to register will be accepted as contestants.
There is no registration fee.

Posting of Entries
Participants must create a Book item to compile all their entries. Be sure to post your Book Item link for this contest to be considered a bona fide spot-lighter.

If a member is not upgraded and cannot create a book, he/she may post entries directly in this forum using the title format:
"MY TASK - Dx", where x is the day number.

Task Announcements
All daily tasks will be posted in this forum and sent to all participants via Group Mail. A participants’ group will be created for this purpose.

Submission Deadline
Contestants will be given 24 hours to complete each day’s task.

Late posting will be permitted only once during the seven-day contest period. Any participant who posts late more than once will be eliminated from winning eligibility.

This rule does not apply to the group task.

Judging
Judges will evaluate each day’s entries at the end of that day. Although you may edit your entries later, revisions may not be reviewed again by the judges.

If you wish to request a re-check of your entry, this will be allowed once only, and only for submissions made within the first five (5) days.

First Place: Writing Merit Badge and a 25k Ribbon to the book.

Second and Third places: "Writing" Merit Badge

Winning Group for "Group Task": Each member will get 5000 G.P.s.
