Hello Lilli ☕ Author Icon,
I am here with a review for your Portfolio.

Your Portfolio Tab makes one thing very plain and simple: coffee and you basically the same thing. The first four images, from the Portfolio image to the thumbnails of your three highlighted items are all about coffee. It’s fun to come to and I can almost smell it. Now that I’m looking at it … why don’t you have a coffee cup in your Case?
Hmmmm. Scrolling rewards me with many more coffee images. Until Trinkets!!!.

Your Review Tab shows that you have sent well over 2,000 reviews since joining in 2017. That’s a pretty decent track record. I like that you have set up a “Review Style” note. Like you, I like to get wrapped up in the pieces I review. But if there is a glaring mistake, I will point that out also.
Why don’t you like Science Fiction or Fantasy? Those are the best! LOL
You should put something that you won’t review. We all have limits.

In your Biography Tab, you put that you would like to write about your Middle East travels. Have you gotten around to that yet? I would want to read that. With either pictures that you took or with links to pictures on the internet.
And the coffee is ubiquitous.

The Notebook has a delicious coffee foam heart. Now I want an espresso. I think you did take a little break from WdC in the past year, but it appears that you are now back at regularly posting. So nice to see you around again.

Your Blog has a nice intro that’s both personal and also informative. It gives credit to many people who have done nice things for you and especially ♥HOOves♥ Author Icon for the Award. At the same time, it seems that this Blog is a little low energy right now with the last visible post being from June 2024. Do you have any plans to revive it at some point?

Your Community Tab just how involved you are. More than 2,000 reviews written. More than 3,000 Merit Badges given out and more than 800 Awards. More than 16,000 forum posts. Trinkets collected and Trinkets created. You are involved and it shows. Let’s see those numbers go up this year.

Hello Lynn Nichole Author Icon,

I am here with a Portfolio review for you.

On your Portfolio Introduction, you mention that you took a long hiatus from WdC, but you don’t say how long and for what reason. Right now, the account you have is just a little more than a year old. Where you here for a long time? Were you here after or during 2008? That’s when I joined. It’s good that you let a visitor know right away that most things that you have posted are Works in Progress. However, don’t shy away from adding that disclaimer to all of your pieces. Because a lot of people will find your pieces, but not necessarily come and check out your Portfolio Intro.
I notice that you set up several folders, but they all show 0 items. Is that because you plan to fill them as time goes by or because you deleted things?

As of today, your Reviewing Tab shows that you have sent 8 reviews since last January. There is not rule that makes reviewing mandatory on the site. It’s a great way to learn though. Seeing how others do things and also seeing things that you want to avoid in your own writing.
Not sure if you’re joking or peculiar, but you list Romance both in Favorite and in Least Favorite Genres to review. Which one is it? Do you mean specific types of Romance sub-genres? You can elaborate on it. Great job setting limits to what you will review. I also refuse to read a chapter out of context. It makes no sense and feels weird.

I like that the theme of role-playing comes back on your Biography page. It ties this and the Portfolio header together. You have a lot of favorite authors and poets. I am impressed. I can’t remember a lot of names from authors except my super duper favorites. Usually one or two. Although you don’t have a birthday posted (good for protecting your privacy) your movie favorites seem to give a general idea that you are likely over 25 but younger than 35. Did I get it a little bit right?

The theme of the large outline of your name LN stays consistent on your Notebook page. You don’t seem to post much, but it was a pleasure to see that your last post was showing off your first Paycheck Trinket. Don’t be shy and have fun in your Notebook and on the Newsfeed. Engagement isn’t going to be high right away, but as you take part more, you will get more reactions too.

On your Community Tab, I can see that you have 59 Merit Badges. This is great! (For me). It seems all the Merit Badges that you will receive from "26 Paychecks will be brand new to your portfolio. 81 Forum Posts in a year is not very many, but it shows a steady involvement on the site. I hope you stay around and keep your account going this time and make it grow and bigger with each passing week.

Hello JACE Author Icon,
I am here with a Portfolio review for you. I chose you because you are the reason why I am even on WdC.

Your Portfolio picture shows a horse and two people with the horse. That tells so much. You like animals, and this horse especially. That makes you a good person right away. The intro in your Portfolio header shows your mindset to be encouraging to any and all who meet you as you make it about others right away instead of using that space to advertise something about yourself.
The listings of items have some order. Your Blog is pinned at the top and then there is already The 26 PAYCHECKS Playbook. And it’s already awarded! Ooooh … Sybaritic Intensions. I haven’t been there in a while.

Your Reviews Tab shows that you have Review Requests set to OFF. Yet, you give notes about your reviewing style. That’s great because someone who got a review from you can find out a little more about your reasoning behind the review you gave and how it came to be. Like you, I find it awkward and quite infuriating to be asked to review a chapter in the middle of a novel. That’s not how novels work, so reviews really can’t either.

Your Biography Tab shows a picture of you. I still remember that one with you and a boat. You look well and happy in the picture and I hope that is what the majority of your days are like. I’ve read books from all of your four favorite authors. Robert Ludlum was a heavy influence on my early writing efforts when I started writing for fun again as an adult after being set free from forced writing for school. I read everything by Isaac Asimov that I could get my hands on. Your Biography shows the whole person you are. It’s rich and actually very cool to meet you a little more after all these years.

Your Notebook has an American flag in front of a skyscraper. Is the picture strange or are the stars one black block? If they are, is there a meaning to it? Looking at your most recent posts, I can tell that you are interested in the Olympics. I am not really interacting with it this year. I have no passion for it. Although I admire humans for training hard and showing off what they can do. I dislike the politics of it and the sexism, so I don’t follow anything.

Your Blog title is well chosen and the ellipsis lets the reader choose where the things from your mind go. Another dapper photo of you. Well lit. You look very classical. A little bit like Gepetto. Scrolling over the most recent entries, it shows that your blog is not a daily but a frequent habit. And posts that are meaningful to visitors. Nicely done.

Your Community Tab shows how involved you are. Over 1,500 Community Recognitions since 2008 show that you are well regarded and people like to reward you. Almost 2,500 reviews sent out is a solid number. Your ratio of Merit badges received to given is amazing at 3:1. Your over 5,000 forum posts prove how involved you are.

I’m glad that you are traveling along with 26 Paychecks and I’m looking forward to the next tasks with you.
