Hello Lynn
As part of the 26 paycheck activities, I have chosen you from the list of participants to do a portfolio review as follows:
Portfolio
Your portfolio is neat and tidy. Making it easy for visitors to view your work. The folders you have outlined make it that much easier to find something to read or view.
Your heading is very white and bright; a little colour might make it more cheerful. It was interesting to find that you enjoy role-playing. I haven’t seen too many on my travels in WdC lately.
I love how you pre-set the expectation for your readers for the progress of your work.
You appear to have a wide variety of writing types, IE: poetry, short fiction, long fiction, and many blogs.
What I did find unusual is that 90% of your folders were empty, and only one had items, but they were not viewable. Congratulations on your 1st anniversary.
Reviews
It was good to see that your review requests were ON, and of the reviews you have completed, you provided good detail to those authors. I do notice that you are very specific about what you will and will not review, which is good for you, but may discourage authors from asking for a review.
Biography
Your biography is nicely put together. It gives a good sense of who you are. Your interests are outstanding and plenty; it's a good thing you still have time to write.
Notebook
I see you haven’t utilized your notebook actively too much. Yet it was here that I found you were a teacher, something which was not represented in your portfolio or biography.
I did get a sense that your presence is appreciated by those with whom you come into contact, as your notebook was full of positive energy from others.
Blog
You have not utilized the blog tab feature, which is fine; many don’t. But I did notice you have a few blog types in your portfolio that you could highlight here.
Community
Within your community, you have been a frequent visitor and participate in various newsfeeds, groups and forums. Your array of badges shows quite a variety of interests.
It would appear that your reviewing habits are aligned with the idea that if someone asks, you will comply, but you do not appear to review just anything on the site.
Overall
Your portfolio presents well and is easy to view. Congratulations on your 1st anniversary.

As part of the 26 paycheck activities, I have chosen you from the list of participants to do a portfolio review as follows:
Portfolio
Your portfolio header is colourful warm, and welcoming. I love how you have taken the time to acknowledge those who have been a part of your WdC experience over the years. Oh, to be 30 again. I envy your youth, but it appears you are putting it to good use. ‘Someone’s trash can be a treasure to someone else’ – how very true.
You have set up your portfolio with folders, which makes it nice and neat. Your description allows the reader to sneak a peek inside to choose what to read. It’s nice to see highlighted items. The cat is adorable and draws your eyes right to it.
Reviews
I see you have the review request button ON, which is great. I also see you are active with your public reviews, with just shy of 1,900 public reviews. But what is awesome is your overall total of reviews at just shy of 3,300. Nice Job. Your review header could use a little love; perhaps an image or write-up on your reviewing process could be provided.
Biography
Your biography gives a warm, fuzzy feeling of kindness and helpfulness to everyone who reads it. An image or picture would spruce this header up.
Notebook
It is nice to see you active on your notebook. It is a great way to meet other authors and to showcase your work.
Blog
You have a blog, and it links automatically. Great job. I see you really like The Bard’s Hall Contest. It is good to be active and keep notes of where you like to hang out and write.
Community
Your community appear to appreciate your reviewing skills, as this is your most earned badge. Impressive. Good job on referring a member to! You have a good community spirit.
Overall
Your portfolio presents well and is a pleasure to view. Congratulations on celebrating your 20th anniversary.

Portfolio
Your portfolio has a nice, warm welcome message and a cute picture. It is good to see you have utilized your highlighted items. You have your folders nicely done with a good description on each one. It would seem you dabble in quite a few genres. Once folder stuck out: Figments of my Imagination I will have to come back and check that one out for sure.
Reviews
I was surprised to see your review requests turn OFF but I’m sure you have a valid reason. It appears that your public reviews are most prominent, which gives feedback for others as well. Your image is a perfect reflection of a review page. Your review style was well written, and I will agree with you on the novel review. If I don’t start at the beginning, then there is no point in starting in the middle with a one-and-done review. Your review accomplishments are outstanding; you certainly do read a lot.
Biography
Your biography provides a clear picture of your interests and writing style. Love the quote. Nice picture too, you look very relaxed. ‘A serious amateur’ aren’t we all, but it is a good opening line.
Notebook
Your notebook made me laugh, sorry not sorry, the first post about waking up your wife, I remember seeing that in the newsfeed a couple of days ago. It is nice to see you active on your notebook, with helpful tips, contest announcements, and just plain life affairs.
Blog
Interesting that one of your highlighted items is also your auto link on your blog. Clever for those who don’t realize there is a blog tab, you would still acquire the traffic to read yours.
Community
It is nice to see that you have referred new members to the site, good job. Your merit badge collection is impressive, and you are definitely into trinkets. Your community spirit is nice to see. As a senior mod, the expectation to be part of the community is a given, and you have certainly taken full control of your presence on WdC. Your fan base shows me you are well-liked.
Overall
Your portfolio presents well and was quite interesting to go through. I will have to stop back again and read some of your works. Congratulations on celebrating your 17th anniversary.
