This award recognizes the writers who have a lousy start to their month, but pick up the pen again and go for it anyway!

I'm still working out the math of it with ChatGPT and a few mathphile friends. We will devise a calculation to identify the "Biggest Comebacks" from among our writers by tracking an average target pace and a deficit recovery score. There will be a way to watch your score each day.

* Up to five "Biggest Comeback" awards available. In order to be eligible, writers must sign up for the Write-a-thon, post word counts on the NanoList, and accrue an accumulated word deficit at some point during the month. Still working out the mathy details.
