So, I am one of the fill-in questioners; let's get this! 2 things - one, I have no idea how to make it look purty, and two, I am Australian, so I spell and punctuate differently. What is the best bit of writing advice you have received? Not life advice, writing advice. And that you have received, not given.  Me? Do not compare yourself to others. Either writers at your level (or that you perceive at your level), or the greats, or your writing idols. Comparison is something to be avoided. The only comparison that matters is to yourself last year.  Reminder to all: This is a judgment-free zone. Chat and share, but, be kind and respectful to one another. |
