The Rondelet is a seven line French form with a powerful pattern of rhyme and repetition. The line structures use 4, 8, 4, 8, 8, 8, 4 syllables, respectively. Each of the four syllable lines are the same refrain, and there is a rhyme scheme of A, b, A, a, b, b, A, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
