Form of the Week: Mini-monoverse The Mini-monoverse is a poetic form created by Emily Romano, an author and award-winning poet. The Mini-monoverse poem is made up of two stanzas, each consisting of five three-syllable lines. Rhyme scheme: 1st stanza – a/a/a/a/a 2nd stanza – b/b/b/b/b Ideally, the Mini-monoverse tells a story, but that isn’t a requirement. ><><><><><>< Here is one of Emily Romano’s Mini-monoverse poems: The Kill Crack of dawn: On the lawn, Timid fawn, Lacking brawn, Becomes pawn.
