The Three-Five-Seven verse was originated by the Chinese poet known as Li Po. The structure is quite simple, consisting of three lines with word counts of six, ten, and fourteen, respectively. Each line is split in half by a caesura ( https://www.litcharts.com/literary-devices-and-terms/caesura ), creating a parallel or response in the second half of the line, as described and demonstrated in the following link: http://www.poetrymagnumopus.com/forums/topic/631-three-five-seven-3-5-7/ .
