Write an expanded story based on a fairy tale!

Objective: To take a regular fairy tale and twist it around for a new audience to elaborate on.

Guidelines:
Every month there will be a new regular common or uncommon fairy tale that needs to be elaborated upon.
          You can do this in the following ways
                    Poem [40 lines, any form]
                    Short Story [1500 words]
          You may enter as many times as you want. As many as you have time for. I'll read it.

Rewards:
I will reward the most creative, fascinating, stick close to the original story.
                    1st place : 10,000 Gift points: or a merit badge: or ribbon
                    2nd place: 4,500 Gift points
                    3rd place: 2,000 Gift points
~ If there are less than seven contestants then only the first place will be rewarded. ~



Deadline: 30 June 2012, midnight WDC time.
