| Alessia and Rosie stayed at our house last night, they had the option of our house or Melissa's, They'd alternate between both but Alessia wanted to be with me last night because she was coming to work with me again, She was up with the birds bouncing into the bedroom waking myself and Lisa who looked extremely grumpy being woken up so early, I was even called 'Mum' and told to get ready, I washed and changed then joined Alessia in the kitchen for some toast and tea, We made our way to work, We were early so we could have another cuppa and I told her some jobs I wanted doing first, I could see how happy she was and how much she wanted to prove herself, It was now it hit me if she didn't get the job due to my colleague returning to work she'd be heartbroken but she knew my colleague may return, The hours passed by and I could feel the tension with Alessia, There was no sign of my manager (Donna), We had a late lunch when one of the office secretaries rang me to be at the office for 4 o'clock, That left us with about an hour to wait, Alessia was now a wreck and sat there with nervous hope. The time came and we headed to the office, Donna was sat at her desk, She asked Alessia how she'd enjoyed working here for the last two days, Nervously she replied she'd loved it, Donna then told her she could enjoy it more starting Monday, I thought Alessia was going to pee herself as she jumped up all excited and gave me a big hug, Alessia and myself went back to my office really happy, The first thing Alessia did was phone Rosie to give her the news, I phoned Lisa to let her know, Her response was 'party time', Any excuse for Lisa, Half an hour passed when Lisa rang and said she was going out to buy some bin bags, I knew what that meant, We would use black bin bags to make clothes, it was fun especially when the weather forecast for the weekend was for rain, I could see the weekend being a crazy one, and wet, Alessia had tidied up and we were ready for home, She took hold of my hand and said, 'come on Mum' I really felt special as she'd called me Mum again. |
