Don't get me started on the difference between the lyricism of Ryan Tedder and that of Dan Reynolds Dan is a poet; I can point out at least one of ID's songs that has a perfectly symmetrical syllable count. Ryan leaves more up to the skill of his voice...

Wonderful poem that links footprints to bits and pieces of our memories over the years.
As we get older, we do leave a mark behind - footprints if you will - and even as they fade away, they'll always linger and be a reminder of what we once were.
