Most entries are going to be E rated but some may go beyond that. |
You just want to read? These entries will be freshly written for a contest. Since I plan on joining many then I'm putting them all in a book. Sit back and enjoy it. I'll try to do a (poem) line count, (story) word count, prompt, and which contest I entered in. Though I won't be mentioning it in the piece, but "The Contest Challenge" ![]() |
Walking out the door Golden rays of light hit me The coolness of the breeze Sent shivers down my spine A block away Dead and brown What used to be full of color Passed away from the cold Ten blocks away Lifeless trees scatter Barren of leaves Whispers continuously Thirty blocks away A massive building pops into view Full of life on the inside Divided into four sections Final stop I strode in White and blue swirled My flight awaited Up in the air I looked out the window Swirls of green and blue All around Darkness closes in Lightning flashed by Rumbles felt White ice balls struck the sides Clear as day Orange and purple danced across the sky As blackness followed Giving way to stars Lurches came Down on the ground Stiff and frozen I walked off In a comfy room I slept away Until next day When visiting places began Line count: 40 Word count: 153 Contest: "The Long Poetry Contest" ![]() |
