Hey! You! Yeah, you! Could you bring this momma some coffee?
I'll be sharing my struggles and triumphs as I try to pin down inspiration while juggling an 8 year old, 6 year old, 5 year old, and 5 month old (oh, and also navigating my chronic illness). There'll be lots of humor, probably more than a little complaining, and just all around good times.
I hope you'll come along for the journey! (Don't forget the coffee; I'm serious about that! )
I see, there is a lot to this that I haven't looked into. I agree that the FCC does not have that right. I wish both parties would stop trying to use federal committees/Supreme Court to force their will. It's wrong all around (whether you are Cheeto colored or not ).
Kimmel uses satire to encourage people to think and react. He did say he was saddened by what happened to Kirk, and sent his condolences to the Kirk family that seems to have fallen to the wayside.
It's the bigger issue that Brendan Carr (FCC chair) threatened to pull ABC's license if they didn't fire Kimmel. That's censorship and the FCC has no right to do that because of the 1st Amendment. ABC kowtowed just like others have to cheeto's demands which came before Carr made the threat.
I loved her as an actress but until I discovered on what happened on this day and saw she was born and died on the same day then Brittanica finished the brief article with the scandal.
You're welcome.
Yes, we can always learn more. What an eye-opening way to look at life! If nothing else, but the idea of learning more should make waking up every morning an exciting venture.
My daughter scrapbooks her daughter (my granddaughter's) school years. Lyv is in 7th grade. Amanda has also done Lyv's dance years from when she was 2 and is still going. It's fun to see her interests evolve and how much she's grown.
We can't lose track of our lives. I need to scrapbook pictures that my mother had of everyone. She is gone now and it's been sad. I appreciate your entry. I am glad you enjoy scrapbooking. We need to enjoy life is right
What song was number one the year you were born or what book was number one on the New York bestsellers list the year you were born?
Are you familiar with the song or the book? Would you recommend either to us?
Oooh I get to put on my research hat!
So the number one song was "I Will Always Love You" (the Whitney Houston version, an absolute classic!). I would definitely recommend this song and, as a matter of fact, I find myself singing it quite often.
The number one book was "The Secret History" by Donna Tartt. I have never even heard of this book, much less read it, but a glimpse through the Googler at the synopsis seems like a very interesting read. It's apparently considered a dark academia classic, and I am a big fan of that vibe.
