Hey! You! Yeah, you! Could you bring this momma some coffee?
I'll be sharing my struggles and triumphs as I try to pin down inspiration while juggling an 8 year old, 6 year old, 5 year old, and 5 month old (oh, and also navigating my chronic illness). There'll be lots of humor, probably more than a little complaining, and just all around good times.
I hope you'll come along for the journey! (Don't forget the coffee; I'm serious about that! )
Yes, we can always learn more. What an eye-opening way to look at life! If nothing else, but the idea of learning more should make waking up every morning an exciting venture.
My daughter scrapbooks her daughter (my granddaughter's) school years. Lyv is in 7th grade. Amanda has also done Lyv's dance years from when she was 2 and is still going. It's fun to see her interests evolve and how much she's grown.
We can't lose track of our lives. I need to scrapbook pictures that my mother had of everyone. She is gone now and it's been sad. I appreciate your entry. I am glad you enjoy scrapbooking. We need to enjoy life is right
Nice entry!
At least you learn from experience. I can't say the same about me.
There's a Turkish saying which shows my not learning from experience. "A blind person is one who falls the same way twice at the same place."
Merry Christmas! That's a horrible situation to be in, but I'm glad you got to spend some quality time with your mother-in-law. Nice to see someone else who's monthly blogging so I thought I'd drop by!
Prompt:
"Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper."
Robert Frost
Is what Robert Frost says true for you? What makes you lose your temper?
Um, I must not be very educated . If I have to listen to anything repetitive for too long, I will lose my temper. If I hear the word "mom" more than a hundred times a day, I will lose my temper. If I hear outright lies, I will lose my temper. But different viewpoints? Different opinions? Simple disagreements? I am willing to listen to them without losing my temper. There is no point in getting angry at someone for thinking differently. Correcting a misconception is one thing, but I don't think anyone should have to tolerate outright lying and slander.
