Loss, Losing Things and People

Prompt: Loss. Joy asked us how loss affects us and how we could have prevented losing things and someone.

I went through a house fire and lost quite a few things. It has been 20 years but we recovered, rebuild and I did save a lot of things. It was hard. Losing my grandparents, friends. That hurts. I wish they were all still here. It is hard to go on without them. It takes me awhile to adjust to bad things that happen. I pray and try to see the good things in life. There are good things. My cat I had years ago died and that was rough. I know she is at Rainbow Bridge. We can't prevent things from happening at time but we do what we can. I pray and I will see people who died again someday.
