| The memories of you return, Thoughts of romantic rendezvous, That awaken passions which burn, That now cause me to sing the blues. Happiness depended on you, Hopes for marriage and family, Hopes that you would not be untrue, Hopes for love not calamity. As I contemplate our affair, A gaggle of thoughts come to mind, And our song plays out of nowhere, A mind worm playing on rewind.
