| Ghosts ‘Tis but a dream; the shadows on the wall remind me of the ghosts of days now past. The lonely echoes help me to recall those happy moments that went by too fast. A summer’s day with family and friends; a walk beside you, holding tight your hand. Enchantments only seen through time’s soft lens that seem to fade like footprints in the sand. I stand in mem’ry’s doorway now and stare. Unfolding scenes, now twisted in my mind, unveiling feelings of loss and despair for all the joyous moments left behind. These are the shadows of things that have been. Their magic now exists only within.
