The Tree of Humanity

"Ye are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch.”

Sprouting
in the Great Rift Valley of Africa,
humanity sent its roots
through landmasses,
across rivers,
lakes,
oceans,
and ice.

From those roots grew
a rainbow of hues,
civilizations,
and religions.

Mean while,
the Mother tree
spread her boughs
across the planet.
