Work is Worship of God

It's the joy of waking,
of looking forward to laboring
in a profession you love,
while worshiping
the All-Glorious Creator.

It's a new age,
with a new work ethic:
Work is worship of God!

Proclaim the glad-tidings to all
that praise of God
is no longer confined
to a specific day
or location
for the Pen of Glory1 has written:
"It is enjoined upon every one of you to engage in some form of occupation, such as crafts, trades and the like. We have graciously exalted your engagement in such work to the rank of worship unto God, the True One..."2
