Trying
Or Making A Damn Good Attempt At It

I fear to try!
But not to try is death,
death to my talents, hopes, and dreams.

So I will try!
In trying I will achieve;
I will bring my goals to fruition.

I will try!
In trying I will conquer fear;
fear which is the death of all that I hold dear.

I will try faith!
Faith will make my dreams come true;
it is belief in things unseen and undone.

What has trying taught me?
To hold faith not fear before me,
with faith I can conquer fear, death, and everything.

What have I found by trying?
I have found faith in God and in myself,
with faith and God's help I will achieve!
