Family, Masterpiece

Prompt: "The family is one of nature's masterpieces." George Santayana Is your family a masterpiece or someone else's family you know? Write what you want about this.

My mother's grandparents knew John Dillinger was hanging out with a woman next door but they never told the police. They also knew gypsies and Great Grandma got a postcard from a friend who went down on the Titanic. They were good people, farmed and had goats. They never hurt anyone. I would say they were a masterpiece.

My one grandmother was half Cherokee and I have Native American blood on four sides of my family.

A Masterpiece Family? Does this mean being rich, having politicians or running famous companies or being a Kennedy or a Rockwell? I think as long as a family is loving, caring, hard working, believe in God and are doing their best to get a long, this is what I would call a Masterpiece Family.
