Telling The Truth
Prompt: Why is telling the exact truth so difficult?

For one thing, even though I am a writer, telling the truth can be difficult because of every detail. You don't want to hurt someone's feelings. Maybe you are trying to protect yourself or someone you love, so you don't tell the exact truth. Medical issues, procedures and what you don't want to talk about, you don't tell the exact truth. Fear of being embarrassed and judged will make you not tell the exact truth. Someone gives you the wrong information and you don't tell the exact truth. This is why telling the exact truth can be difficult.
