Feelings An Opening Inspire

What feelings can an opening inspire? Like opening a gift, beginning of a lecture, flower, book, play and so on?

I love reading openings to books by my favorite authors. I know the books will be good and like to read what I am in for. Opening a gift. Wow. Someone thought of me and this gift is for me. I can't wait to see what's inside. A sermon. I love my minister and I know she will give a good, inspiring message and Jesus will be pleased. Lectures. I was always bored with these. I did my best to learn.

I enjoy the start of my favorite shows. It gets me away from my problems. Openings are nice but sometimes you can get disappointed. I think we all go through that.
