Old Shoes

Prompt: Write about an old pair of shoes that you find in the attic.

I had a pair of blue velvet platform shoes with a strap across the ankles that I wore with a blue velvet dress when I was 20. I also wore them with jeans. I loved those shoes. I felt so dressed up and lady like.

Once I found a pair of purple shoes at the old county building I worked at. They looked like they were back in the early 1900's. I imagined a woman dressed in a purple dress wearing them. Maybe it might have been me! I love purple.
