The Hearing

This hearing for Harry Potter just shouldn't be
He was forced to conjour magic as you will see
Harry needed to save himself, and his cousin, too
Believing otherwise is simply to misconstrue

What happened was very easy to understand
The Dementors paid a visit to a Muggle land
Harry had to summon a very strong Patronus Charm
Without it, those Dememtors were sure to cause harm

Albus Dumbledore was his witness to the defense
The headmaster certainly made the boy's story make sense
Dumbledore cited Clause Seven of the decree
Which stated that underage magic could be used if need be

Though some voted to convict Harry, like Fudge, Umbridge, and even Percy,
Most found him innocent, and granted him mercy
Harry would now be free to go back to school
He was joyous, but learned a lesson of how people can be cruel
