Not My Novels, You Don't!

Prompt: Emily Bronte wrote "Wuthering Heights." After Emily died, her sister Charlotte rewrote this novel. Would you like someone rewriting your novels after you have passed on? Just curious.

I don't want anyone rewriting my novels I wrote. My one friend Gretchen gave me the idea for the one novel but I didn't finish it. I would let her finish it but that is it. I don't want anyone altering my work or trying to change it. Guess I am selfish.

I don't like how Charlotte rewrote "Wuthering Heights." I like how Emily wrote it. It should have stayed the way it was. Emily's version is a classic.
