It's mothering Sunday
A special day
But what did it mean to me
The Lord took her away when I was three
He gave me a granny to watch over me.
Aunty and I began her day
Roses from the garden displayed on a breakfast tray.
And now today it will be my Mothering Sunday
And the game I will play
My family will arrive at my door
Just as I did with my granny many years before.
