It seams like only yesterday
We danced the night away
We dance the bop
And then the lindy hop
Jived all night and could not stop
Then along came the children 1234
We danced no more
But soon the children left our home
Giving us time to roam
Different countries we did explore
Once again took to the dance floor
We danced the night away
God brought our dancing to a halt
When He gave you the last waltz
There is only one dance left today
The last dance with you is in my memory.
