One Wish

Finding an old lamp, Jack rubbed it and a djinni appeared.

“I’m a powerful genie. I will grant your one desire!”

Jack produced a map of the Middle East. “This region has been at war for centuries. I would like peace.”

The genie looked doubtful. “Is there anything else you desire?”

Jack thought. “I’ve been married for 25 years and never understood my wife. Can you grant me understanding?”

“Let me see that map, again!”
