The Writing Classroom assignment for January 13, 2017 is to write four sentences using appositives.

1). I, myself never believed I would ever teach English or run a blog about it.

2). The bag, a paper sack, was ripping down the side.

3). The police officer, a deputy sheriff, gave me a warning ticket for going three miles per hour over the speed limit.

4. The soldier, an army ranger, parachuted into a combat zone.
