Reflecting on 2016

The Good ▶︎

• Started two direct sales businesses which I love.
• Started volunteering at the local animal control center and made a new human friend as well as many, many kitty friends.
• Started therapy (again) but have a really good therapist.
• Been about 13 weeks clean from cutting.
• Got back together with my girlfriend.
• Turned 18.
• Stopped biting my nails for months.
• Made many Russian friends online who are teaching me Russian, and I in turn am teaching them English.
• Graduated school in May.
• Joined a swimming exercise class at the rec center.
• About 20 pounds of weight lost.

The Bad ▶︎

• There were many deaths this year, including two cats at the control center.
• I relapsed with my cutting.
• Lots of stress from work.
• Anxiety and depression meltdowns.
• Ended up having to hear the whole story of what went down in 2014, which has made me feel awful of how bitter I was toward my dad.
• Found out I'm lactose intolerant again.
• Started biting them again after I stopped wearing my Jams. (from my direct sales business, Jamberry Nails.)
• Someone attempted suicide. (won't say who)
• No snow. It was in the 70's on Christmas!
• So many job rejections.
• Lost the will to write mostly.
• Things in our house keep breaking.

Looking back there were a lot of good things, but overall it was a bad start to my adulthood in my opinion. 2014 was the worst year though that I remember. With all that said, I get to ring in the new year in 8 minutes!!! Here I come 2017!
