Angels helping Homeless

The snow was tumbling gently down,
It encased all of the frozen ground.

It was cold, ten below,
There were many, which had no place to go.

But unknown to all the men below,
Angels dwelled the streets with glow.

A shelter opened up its doors,
And this day accepted many more.

More people than they had before,
The angels came to try to restore.

The lives of the lost,
They would at any cost.

Each Angel took a soul to repair,
They were there to teach man to share.

I will help you find your way,
Said an angel whose heart was swayed..

Love and peace must consume the air,
To save us from this awful despair.

The people rose to see the angels,
They knew this world had been mangled.

Filled with horror of war and hate,
Now is time to renovate.

To clear away the old for new,
To show we have peace and love too.
