Positive, Negative Things

Prompt: Joy asked if we find positive things in a negative situation or in words like mayhem.

My house burned down 16 years ago and it was awful. My husband and cat and me got out safely. We got a new house, insurance paid off and we built a sunroom on to the new house 2 years later. I took up writing and scrapbooking. God was with us.

I had extensive bowel surgery. I almost died and was on a breathing tube. The positive of this is friends ands family were there for me when I had to learn how to walk again and I got 3 months off from work. Hard way to take a break but it all worked out.

Dad had a stroke and we aren't close but we had a heartfelt moment and Dad is walking and driving and went on a trip to Minnesota. I feel a certain warmness towards my father. He is a Viet Nam Vet.

We can find positive things out of bad situations.
