Workshop

I attended a workshop today. It was an adventure in embracing the journey and adventure that is my life. We talked about my new friend Hoyer. I was already learning recently how to use it many times over. We talked about feeding tubes and I was transported back to my time with Carlos. I recalled as they showed me again what I learned 12 years ago. The trauma was brought to surface about when he aspirated and the nurse in Erie knew my pain even if she was not in Missouri. I was as also reminded of work with as Jan and Ray. I recalled my time with Gary Crane as we learned about Oxygen and for a time work as a chaplain in a world where medical/clinical technology was a vital part of my learning.
The workshop showed me that home is where the heart is.
