Columbus Day
Prompt: should we still have Columbus Day or not? Fivesixer asked our views on this.

Columbus didn't discover America, the Vikings were here first. Columbus was looking for the Indies. He wasn't always a nice man history says.

In 1942, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.

The ocean was always blue. I remember coloring a picture of him in first grade. He was scary looking.

There was a song about a lady that someone sat on her hat and ruined it. She sang: "Christopher Columbus, what do you think of that?" He wouldn't have cared as long as it wasn't his hat.

Columbus Day. It doesn't matter to me. I just love Thanksgiving. Maybe we should have a Vikings Day? They were mean, too but here first. I could live without Columbus Day.
