Corby Town

In 1980 the steel was no longer manufactured in Corby and new industry came to the town. When the steel was being made thee was only 3 main factories that most of the people in the own worked also a few factories that made shoes and textile. The people went to Kettering the main town from Corby to do their shopping and any official business, such as the tax office and social security. Corby has a huge shopping facility, such as Asda, Tesco, Iceland. No longer do they have to shop in kettering ,but it is the main town and still have the official business of Corby.
